Log home with natural slate roof

Greenstone natural slate was installed on a residential log home built in 2001 in New York. This random width slate roof included Vermont Wells Gray and Vermont Strata Gray.

Standard Grade Rough Texture 1/4″-3/8″ thick slate was used on the house and garage. On the breezeway roof between the two buildings Architectural Grade 3/8″-1/2″ thick slate was used to accommodate for falling snow. The year 2001 was detailed on the roof with red slate.
